Pact Construction needed signage fast – their Homemakers Centre building was progressing well and the sign on the top needed to be installed before the road was sealed below. Rainbow Signs manufactured these 3D letters and shapes from acrylic, mounted to a backing board, and installed them using just about the biggest cherry-picker in the state. The ‘H’ is also lit with LEDs. Another job well done, and another big sign project completed on time, without a hitch.

Yet another Perth roof sign gets an upgrade courtesy of Rainbow Signs. The Duxton is Perth’s premier 5-star hotel, but over time their roof signs (lit with neon) had got a little less bright than they used to be. Rainbow Signs removed the 3D letters using rope access, repainted them and installed the brightest white LEDs currently available into the letters, before re-installing them in their new glory. These massive 3D shapes were made at our Osborne Park factory, then lifted by rope access to roof level and attached to a customised frame – all while we co-ordinated turning off the various mobile phone towers right next door. When Burswood wanted to upgrade their signage for the Atrium and their new restaurant Modo Mio, they knew who to ask. Our hand-made 3D stainless steel letters are the best in the country, and illuminated with white LEDs, they provide a stylish, modern look, low energy consumption and no maintenance required.

When Bankwest move into Raine Square early in 2012, their new building will be topped with the largest LED sign project in Australia. As you can see from the attached photos, Rainbow Signs were one of the only sign companies in WA capable of handing a job involving two 18 x 4m lightboxes, to be illuminated with around 10,000 LEDs in conjunction with the bank’s flagship superstore opening in early 2012. The install process for the large boxes (which are yet to be decorated and completed) involved roof cranes, rope access technicians and engineering to the glass roof, all on an industrial construction site. Tricky, but we did it!

When the Boatshed wanted to rebadge their business, they knew who to call. Rainbow Signs designed, manufactured and installed a variety of illuminated and stainless steel signs to reflect the outstanding quality of Boatshed’s produce.

Boatshed Market is the state’s premier fresh produce retailer, and a Western-suburbs dining room fixture. Recently the business changed names from Boatshed Fresh Food to Boatshed Market, and they required fresh new signs that acted both as an advertising device and as ‘badging’ to such a quality business.

When Parsons Brinkerhoff wanted branding on the building, they knew who to ask. Rainbow Signs negotiated building and sign licences with City of Perth on PB’s behalf, and manufactured and installed large sky-signage and a smaller entry sign.

The big sky sign is a whopper – 3-metres high, 12-metres long. The fabricated letters are internally illuminated with (environmentally friendly!) LEDs which provide bright and even illumination. The install – ten stories up – employed a large crane and abseiling sub-contractors, with the sign going up in four pieces.

Perth’s leading sports medicine facility Sportreat now has the opportunity to tell passing traffic all about their great services using their new illuminated plinth sign, which features a large LED screen with changeable message.

Following on from successful LED pylon sign projects at Sandalford and Ningaloo Reef Resort, Sportreat asked us to design a sign that was bold, bright and eye-catching, whilst allowing them to inform traffic on Canning Highway of the various services they provide.

LED Screens are a sensational means of roadside advertising that is bright, safe, reliable and can change with your own sales and marketing efforts. This screen is controlled via a Bluetooth mechanism aligned with laptop software, making changing the message as easy as pie!

Sometimes the most interesting sign projects are the most challenging and Ningaloo Reef is no exception.  This beautiful resort, located amidst one of Western Australia’s most pristine stretches of coastline, is also one of the most remote and inaccessible locations in Australia.

Rainbow Signs, always willing to to take on any challenge, leaped at the opportunity to help promote this perfect pocket of paradise with a series of well crafted and tastefully designed signs.

While these sorts of distances and remote locations always present logistical challenges, it’s safe to say that none of our installation team were complaining about being sent to paradise for a few days on “work”.

Beatty Park Leisure Centre has recently started taking statistics to ascertain where our customers are hearing about us.  We are hoping to use this information to better spend our advertising budget.

During this process we noticed several trends emerging with the most surprising one being that street signs counted well above Yellow Pages in measurable number of referrals for all areas of our business.

With this information we are now looking at amending our marketing strategy and continue to update our removable message on both our street signs on a regular basis.
